TERMODINAMIK’s Cast Iron And Steel Wood Boilers Respond To Class 4 (EN 303-5:2012) Requirements

STANDARD TEST & INSPECTION company tested and qualified cast iron and steel wood boilers to respond to requirements of CLASS 4 (Standard EN 303-5:2012).

The requirements of Standard EN 303-5:2012 for heat efficiency and emission levels define three Classes: 3, 4 and 5.  The higher the Class of the boiler means the lower emission level and higher efficiency are achieved. Moreover, the present European Union Regulations do not allow to import and distribute throughout European Community boilers with the efficiency and emission values which do not respond to the requirements of at least Class 4.

Thanks to its R&D Center (recognized by Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of the Turkish Republic)TERMODINAMIK has improved the structure of heat-exchangers of its boilers as well as balanced the burning process to reach value of efficiency and emission determined by Standard EN 303-5:2012.

The continuous tests were conducted by independent laboratory of STANDARD TEST & INSPECTION during November-December 2017. Cast iron boilers Termocast Plus, Termocast Maxi Plus and Termocast Mega Plus as well as steel boilers EKYB have been successfully defined for Class 4 and documented with necessary certificates.

TERMODINAMIK continues to move forward. Thus, during the first quarter of 2018 TERMOPEL pellets boiler will pass through large number of tests to be qualified in accordance with requirements of CLASS 5.
